  Import

HiProxy is very flexible when it comes to importing or adding proxies.

The easiest method is to use automatic import from predefined web pages. The web pages are kept current, saving you time and effort.
Open HiProxy, hit button Import, then Download.  Lite Edition will download up to ten(10) web pages for import, Pro Edition has always more.  Choose one page, click on the first column (Sel) to select it and hit button Import.  Lite Edition will import up to thirty(30) addresses per page, Pro Edition could import up to 9999.  Socks pages (Type=S) are colored in light-blue.

You can manually create your own proxy list file using a text editor.  Just make sure proxy addresses format is always "IPaddress:port".  After saving the file, go to HiProxy > Settings > Browse > select your new proxy list file > Save > Reload.

You can also add new proxy addresses to an existing file.  Go to HiProxy > Edit > your default editor opens > append new addresses at end of file > save the file.  Hit button Reload in HiProxy and you will see the new addresses at the bottom of the list.

The Import window contains the following columns:
Web Page address of web page to import from, editable
Type type of proxies in the web page, H = HTTP, S = Socks; editable
Proxies total count of proxies found in the page
Resp number of proxies responding online
Anon number of responding proxies which are anonymous
Last Import date of latest import from the web page
Comments your personal notes about the page, editable
ID internal ID number of the page, same ID is found in the main window for each proxy
